FROM the Sewickley House Tour Guide -Regarding Woodland Cottage: Library: “Transformed in the renovation, the former maid’s quarters has become a formal library breakfast nook. The library features a raised tray ceiling, traditional pine paneling and a warm color palate as the backdrop for this well appointed, yet comfortable room. The color scheme complements the kitchen. It too is painted in a soft green sage. Above the fireplace is a 19th century naive portrait of a child. English Victorian needlework of Queen Victoria’s spaniel “Sash” graces the walls.
